The Palestine Center Mourns the Death of Faisal Husseini

Washington DC – The Center for Policy Analysis on Palestine mourns the death of Faisal Husseini, Palestinian Liberation Organization minister in charge of Jerusalem affairs, who died of a heart attack in Kuwait earlier today.

In the ongoing struggle for Palestinian independence, his was a voice of reason and compassion. His life was a testament to the determination and resilience of the Palestinian people. He worked tirelessly for the right of return and self-determination in Palestine. His passing is a tragic loss for all Palestinians and for all who seek peace and justice for the people of the Middle East. We have known him and considered him a friend for many years. On numerous occasions we had the privilege of hosting him at the Center in Washington, DC. We admired his dedication to the future of the Palestinian people and the fate of his beloved city Jerusalem.

The Palestinian people have lost a steadfast defender. The Center for Policy analysis extends its condolences to the Palestinian people at this moment of great sadness.
