Opening reception to meet the artist, coming from Bethlehem
Friday, 8 July 2011, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

In this work Nadira Araj used playing cards to form the set of each of the UN Security Council (SC) resolutions concerning the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The artist states “from my perspective I feel as if the members of the UN are ‘playing cards with our lives, shuffling us around like a deck of cards.’”

The exhibit also features Nadira’s silver Olive Leaf jewelry.
