clubs, and has toured extensively at home and
abroad. She is a headliner on the Arabs Gone
Wild Comedy Tour and The Muslims Are Coming
Tour (http://www.maysoon.com/).
Opening for Maysoon, local comedian Kareem Omary started performing comedy in New York City in 2009, where he performed at many of New York's top clubs including the Gotham Comedy club and the Broadway Comedy Club. He has been seen on MTV and the web series "Kate and Kula." You can also see him performing in the upcoming documentary film "The Muslims are Coming" tour. Kareem was born and raised in the Middle East and has recently returned to the DC area after living in Brooklyn for the past 10 years.
For those observing the fast during the month of Ramadan, we invite you to come break fast with us at the show. The doors open early enough to get situated and have your food ordered and ready to go at the first sound of the Maghreb. We cannot think of a more appropriate time to gather together to give generously and help ease the difficulties of disabled children in the Occupied Territories.
