The Atfaluna Society enrolled 60 deaf students in different vocational training courses, which took place in the ASDC Vocational Training Unit. The courses were implemented over the courses of two months, twice a week, totaling 48 training hours for each course. In addition, two sign language courses were offered, totaling 48 hours per course, available to families of deaf students. The courses taught them how to communicate using Palestinian Sign Language. Lastly, the program offered two family days to assist parents, siblings and extended family to better understand the importance of including deaf children in everyday communications.
