Nakba Never Forgotten

From The Nakba Museum

Nakba Never Forgotten

“The Nakbas Museum began as the Nakba Museum Project of Memory and Hope, a series of travelling exhibits presented throughout the United States. It is comprised of artwork, photography, oral history, and graphs. All artwork is made by Palestinians living in the West Bank.

While working toward establishing a permanent space for the first Nakba Museum in the US, the organizers continue to give Palestinians a platform to express how the Nakba has influenced, and continues to influence, their lives. The goal is to use these stories and artwork humanize Palestinians and create a deeper conversation about Palestinians in the United States.”

At 7:00 pm Museum founder, Bshara Nassar will share the successes of the Nakba Museum traveling exhibition and future plans for a permanent museum.

Exhibition runs May 5 – May 27
